Jacksonville is a historic gem tucked into the valley hillsides. Established in the aftermath of a major gold strike in 1851, the entire town was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1966 to preserve its spectacular brick-facade architecture.

Living in Jacksonville is like stepping back into a simpler time, yet with ultimate sophistication. Strict local planning guidelines keep franchise or chain retail away.
